SUMMARY: Common Problems of ECED Children

Child behavior problems can crop up from anything and everything, and they can be anything. It is necessary to differentiate between mischievous children and child behavior problems. Child behavior problems can occur in toddlers as well as teenagers. Needless to say, toddler behavior problems are a bit simpler as compared to teenage behavior problems.Child behavior problems or behavior disorders are when children have show a permanent pattern of hostile,destructive or disruptive behavior towards oneself or towards the society.

There are a Five Common Problems of the ECED Children:
@Emotional
@Physical
@Intellectual/Mental
@Social and;
@Spiritual

In Emotional problems, children have become more widely recognized. A child's emotional problem can become a chronic problem if it's not attended to properly and in a timely manner. Many adult emotional problems can also affect children, but these problems may not be as easily recognized in children. Some emotional problems in children can be treated quite easily, but some require long-term care that can be complicated. So that... They have a Childhood Bipolar Disorder, Childhood Depression, Autism, Childhood Schizophrenia, Tourette Syndrome, etc.

In Physical Problems, The preschool stage is an important period in your child's life. This is when he learns to use simple problem solving skills and even basic mathematics and reading through fun preschool activities, without the formality of the "big school" classroom. The needs of preschoolers differ from child to child. You and your child may benefit from educational resources found online or in books to help you cope with early childhood education. So that, the child have a Night awakening, Thumbsucking, Colic, Autism, ADHD, Fetal Development, Down Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder, Brain Injury, etc.

In Intellectual/Mental problems, Many psychological disorders first diagnosed in children involve physiological and/or genetic components. However, there are many other psychological disorders found in children without any physical causes. Disorders caused by physiological or biological problems are more likely to be identified early in life, but some of these problems are not identified until adulthood. Mental retardation, learning disorders, communication skills disorders and pervasive developmental disorders (such as autistic disorder) appear to have biological components. Some psychologists specialize in the identification and treatment of these disorders, but they are not frequently encountered in a general psychological practice because of the need for specialized training and treatment. So that they have a Angelman syndrome, Down syndrome - the school experience, Down syndrome and Alzheimer's, Attention-deficit disorder and disruptive behavior disorders , Low attention and concentration levels, Impulsivity, Low self-esteem, Difficulty with socialisation, etc.

In Social Problems, the children are had a Difficulty relating to other people. Children from age five or six have learned the difference between lies and truth. The motives for lying in this age group are more complex. Prosocial lying may increase, particularly among peers, to avoid hurting another's feelings. In addition, if a parent's expectations for the child's performance are too high, the child may engage in self-enhancing lies out of fear of censure. School-age children also experiment with selfish lies to avoid punishment, or to gain advantage. They are testing the limits as they try to understand how the rules work and what the consequences may be for stepping out of bounds. By age seven children have developed the ability to convincingly sustain a lie. This capacity has serious implications with regard to children's competency to testify in a court of law. The veracity of child witnesses and their understanding of the concept of an oath are important research issues. Children at this age recognize the difference between what they are thinking and how they can manipulate the thinking of another to serve their own ends. arly recognition of social and emotional problems in infants and preschool children is necessary for best developmental outcomes. Social and emotional difficulties continue over time and are highly resistant to change. It is not surprising that a strong relationship exists between childhood behavior problems, delinquency, and later criminality. If left untreated, “early-onset” conduct problems (high rates of aggression, disobedience, oppositional behaviors and emotional impairment) place children at high risk for persistent social and emotional problems, underachievement, school drop out and ultimately delinquency. Research has demonstrated that a young child’s ability to learn is assured by a sense of security and stability, and continuous relationships with adults, including their families and communities.

In Spiritual Problems, Modern man is neglecting the spiritual development of children. A spiritual attitude to life acts as cement to bind members of a family together.Good family life acts as a springboard for people to attain greater heights.Living for each other motivates people to achieve more as there is a strong desire to live. Many problems in families are due to ego clashes, greed and jealousy.These powerful negative emotions are enough to destroy our peace of mind. Reading spiritual books and spiritual quotes can help people to create good family relationships and a congenial atmosphere at home.Stories for moral and spiritual development of children. Unfortunately most of the people today are too busy amassing wealth and pursuing sensual pleasures and do not devote any time for their spiritual development. This attitude is responsible for many of the problems afflicting mankind today. If both husband and wife have a spiritual outlook they will try to inculcate it in their children. A family in which everyone has a spiritual attitude will be full of peace and harmony. Psychological problems are less common in such families. It is a very good practice to pray together at home or go to a place of worship together once in a while. Fear of sin and love for God put people on the right track. A firm belief that we are essentially spiritual in nature enables us to see the world in the right perspective.
